When it comes to choosing the right kind of mesh product to grace your fencing, some site locations can be challenging. So your new site resembles Tornado Alley. You’re going to want to choose a grade of banner mesh designed to handle wind loads without adding strain onto the fence to which it’s attached. WindSmART Mesh by SiteSmART has a greater porosity to reduce these loads whilst still doing your branding proud.
Specifically manufactured to withstand higher than usual wind loads, WindSmART Mesh boasts an open-weave texture. 30% of the fabric surface is open for the wind to pass through. This feature results in less load and strain on both your banner and the structure it’s mounted on. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your WindSmART mesh banners are still attached and looking good once the rough weather passes.
Compare it to standard or premium banner mesh and you can see the difference immediately. WindSmART Mesh is much more open-weave in nature and design, which means it can handle harsh windy conditions without losing its good looks in the process. WindSmART Mesh is visually a little different to other types. It is marginally more transparent, but without detracting too much from its visual appeal.
The open weave texture of WindSmART Mesh and therefore reduced printable surface area does mean that digital print quality may not reflect quite as sharply and colours may appear a little less vibrant than on premium mesh. However, good design and colour choices can go a long way to mitigating this and again, we are here to help you with that process. The trade-off is, of course, the reduction in wind loads and related potential damage. For even more wind permeability, we can insert wind cuts to serve as additional relief vents.
WindSmART Mesh comes in 1.8m and 1.6m high rolls. Both heights are available in popular standard sizes of 50 metre lengths or individual fence panel inserts. Individual panel inserts allow for flexibility and easy relocation of fencing, should it be required.
SiteSmART can easily produce custom lengths to your specifications; just let us know what you need.

It is widely agreed that the Gold Coast property market is about to boom. Demand for land is high, and governing bodies are allowing new land development approvals through at a cracking pace not seen since before the GFC. Paired with the breaking news of a record land sale rumoured to be worth over 9 million dollars for a inner-city Gold Coast waterfront block, now is the time for developers, architects and builders to quickly reflect on their marketing for the coming rush. We discuss what signage can do for your business in the development or construction industry.
If the site is too remote from large thoroughfares such as a highway, reliance can be given directly to small print and online marketing to assist in delivering your message to potential customers. However, if located within a short drive of a major highway, Billboard Signage is a perfect option.
…are not immune to having to advertise their presence. Where temporary fencing structures exist, this is an ideal medium to market a new development. In these instances, the use of Banner Mesh or Printed Shadecloth installed around a new site will draw the attention of a potential customer.
The site sales office is also a prime area for the use of signage. Combinations of Self Adhesive Vinyls (SAV’s), Flags and Tri-Sided Banner Totems will give your sales office that professional edge that competitors may overlook.
…usually work on projects within large developments and depending on where a build is occurring, potential customers will be keen to know what builder or architect is involved. In the instance of the record waterfront sale on the Gold Coast – the architect or builder who is contracted to that project will be attracting a lot of attention from the moment it all begins.
By using a combination of banner mesh, corflute and alupanel signage – not only is your business being noticed, but builders can also meet their WHS requirements. This is achieved by using a part of the banner mesh signage space for safety signage requirements – also known as the ‘two birds, one stone’ approach.

Getting Your Business Noticed is our goal for you at SiteSmART, and one that is aligned with every client we speak with when they’re seeking signage for their business.
Here, we discuss 4 important factors that need to be considered to effectively showcase your signage 24/7.
The use of bright colours ensures that people look at your signage. The eye is naturally drawn to colours that are brightly printed; so don’t be afraid to use yellows, reds, oranges, bright hi-vis style blues or greens! If you want to get your signage noticed, then you need to make sure that you select colours that people will take notice of immediately.
This is especially important to businesses that want to relay a message or brand, contact number or want passersby to know what is happening on a site. By using contrasting colours, people will be able to quickly take in the message your business wants to convey.
Contrast can also be achieved between your signage and the surrounding environment.
Your branding is very important and your site signage will only be as good as the base product that it appears on. Due to this, we consider the harshness of the Australian Environment, the lifespan of the product being used and the purpose for that product. At SiteSmART our friendly professional staff will ask a few questions about your signage to ensure that you get the product for your needs. In the image below, this photo was taken after 15 months hanging in the Queensland weather at an oceanfront development site.
Digitally printing large text or images on site signage allows businesses to maximise the potential advertising space of their site signage. Have a small area? No problem! Using a repeated print pattern will still allow you to ensure that your brand is noticed. Have a large span of signage? Excellent! Using long text lengths could be the best solution for your needs.
